End of Winter?

I know that the end of winter must be near because we are shearing next weekend and the sun is getting warmer. A fair bit of snow is still on the ground, but the air has the smell of spring. The girls are already starting to shed their coats and the sheep due in March are starting to look pretty pudgey under all that lovely wool. I always get in the mood for colour about this time of the year and I have dyed some of the icelandic roving I received from the Lavender Fleece. Enjoy the colours of spring. Also I have included a photo of the lunar eclipse. Last one until 2010!
