Finally! Winter Has Arrived

After a terrible ice storm, it has finally turned to winter at our little farm. They say you have to take the good with the bad : the bad being the ice, the good being the colder temperatures that have brought us some sunshine and have frozen over all the mud. The sheep are playing happily in the field, even though their wool is partially frozen on their backs. I am hoping that the wool will still be decent quality for March shearing. Feykir loves it anyway.

N-Ewes from Hopeful Shetlands: What's Wrong with This Picture

N-Ewes from Hopeful Shetlands: What's Wrong with This Picture

What's Wrong with This Picture

I know that I should feel guilty, just a bit, but I am enjoying this mild weather. If it weren't for all of the mud, this picture would be perfect. The spring-like weather has motivated me to get out my dye-pot and hang my laundry out to dry. All of the windows are open to air out the house:
Gil has been busy decorating the kitchen and Feykir is out in his "puppy Prison" enjoying the warmth and sunshine next to his best buddy Charlie.
